On behalf of the Blue Sky Luxury family we want to assure you that in times of uncertainty surrounding travel, your safety and well-being remain our priority. While we appreciate that the situation with respect to COVID-19 is rapidly changing in respect of travel restrictions we want you to know that we are monitoring the situation in St. Lucia closely. We appreciate the level of concern you may have for your safety in these uncertain times in light of the travel restrictions and advisories imposed by your home countries and ours. We are listening carefully to the concerns we receive from our guests and would like to share a few updates to our cancellation policies as you consider your decisions for your next visit with us.

1.     Why choose St. Lucia as a destination during Covid-19?

To date, St. Lucia has recorded the lowest amount of cases with zero deaths. The CDC has reduced the St. Lucia Covid-19 rating to Level 1, as one of only 8 countries in the world, and has has been recognized as the second best place on the planet to wait out the pandemic.

2.     What are the protocols that I need to be aware of if I’m traveling to St. Lucia?

See below our travel checklist, and all necessary links and addresses.

Before you travel:

ü  Complete a Travel Registration form which can be found here. You will receive an auto-response email upon completion and submission of the form. Please print the auto-response email and travel with a copy of it.

ü  Effective immediately all approved travelling to Saint Lucia will be issued an authorization letter by email. Please print and travel with a copy of the letter.

ü  Take a COVID-19 PCR test no more than 7 days before your flight to Saint Lucia and submit the result of the test by email to TravelSaintLucia@gmail.com and cc to micho1309@gmail.com. Please print and travel with a copy of the test results.

ü  Visitors must have confirmed reservations at COVID-19 certified properties (Bubble Travelers exempt). Your visit may be split to stay at more than one certified property.

ü  For returning nationals and returning residents, confirm arrangements for your stay in a state quarantine facility or COVID-19 Certified accommodation (Bubble Travelers exempt).

3.     Health & Safety – All Homes Safely Cleaned and Inspected

Providing safe and clean environments for our guests HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND CONTINUES TO BE OUR top priority. Our homes are not just cleaned, they are disinfected. All our staff have undergone training on COVID-19 specific disinfection procedures in accordance with recommendations made by the World Health Organisation, USA Centre’s for Disease Control (CDC) and local authorities in respect of cleaning for virus prevention. Protocols have been established in ST.LUCIA for all Tourism Accommodation to ensure the health and safety of our guests, staff and community. Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place globally detailing how to best protect against transmission of the virus and we have included this in our protocols for cleaning procedures including frequent cleaning of high-touch areas.

In order to be able to host guests during covid-19, all our villas have been registered with the min of tourism and HAVE BEEN inspected and certified by Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health.

Our staff are being monitored for their own health to keep both our team and guests safe and protocols are in place for use of Personal Protective Equipment and social distancing at the villa. Guests are able to choose the level of service required and may opt for minimal services as a means of limiting interaction with staff, but full service still remains available.

Our Concierge Team are available to assist you while on island to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable stay with us.

4.     Flexibility – Relaxed Cancellation Policy

We understand the uncertainty surrounding travel during covid-19 and as such have relaxed our cancellation policy. For ALL NEW bookings with the exclusion of Christmas and New Years, guests are able to get a full refund* or credit up to 30 days prior to arrival if the situation remains as it is today, with severe FCO and CDC travel advisories and restrictions on travel. Inside 30 days prior to arrival guests would not be given refunds, but are granted credit for a stay within 12 months in the same home.

For Christmas & New Year’s Bookings, the full deposit  is non-refundable. Should the guest cancel within 60 days or less prior to arrival, the entire amount will be forfeited.

If at any time up to and including the day of arrival, anyone in the travelling party contracts COVID-19, guests will be granted a full refund* on presentation of a doctor’s certificate.

Should this policy revert to a more strict cancellation policy, BSL will have the right to give 14 days notice to all bookings made under this relaxed cancellation policy. This will then give guests 14 days to exercise flexibility to cancel for a full refund* or to keep their booking under the new terms.

*refunds will be subject to a processing fee

Thank you for your support and your loyalty. We will continue monitoring the situation with respect to COVID-19 and respond further based on the advice of governments, public health authorities and medical professionals. We look forward to welcoming you at one of our homes in the future.
