COVID-19 Preparedness & Cancellation Policy

On behalf of the Blue Sky Luxury family we want to assure you that in times of uncertainty surrounding travel, your safety and well-being remain our priority. While we appreciate that the situation with respect to COVID-19 is rapidly changing in respect of travel restrictions we want you to know that we are monitoring the situation in St. Lucia closely. We appreciate the level of concern you may have for your safety in these uncertain times in light of the travel restrictions and advisories imposed by your home countries and ours. We are listening carefully to the concerns we receive from our guests and would like to share a few updates to our cancellation policies as you consider your decisions for your next visit with us.

1.     What are the protocols that I need to be aware of if I’m traveling to St. Lucia?

Before you travel:

  •           Book you stay at a COVID-19 certified prperty
  •           Take your COVID-19 PCR Test no more than 5 days before travel (5 years & over), with the 5th ay being the ay of travel
  •       Complete and submit the online Travel Registration form before travel (18 years & over) here. Indicate that you are fully vaccinated when filling out the pre-arrival Travel Authorization form, and upload proof of vaccination
  •       Print and travel with a copy of the  travel authorization letter that you will receive once all details have been filled in the Travel Registration Form and test results.

2.     Health & Safety – All Homes Safely Cleaned and Inspected

Providing safe and clean environments for our guests HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND CONTINUES TO BE OUR top priority. Our homes are not just cleaned, they are disinfected. All our staff have undergone training on COVID-19 specific disinfection procedures in accordance with recommendations made by the World Health Organisation, USA Centre’s for Disease Control (CDC) and local authorities in respect of cleaning for virus prevention. Protocols have been established in ST.LUCIA for all Tourism Accommodation to ensure the health and safety of our guests, staff and community. Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place globally detailing how to best protect against transmission of the virus and we have included this in our protocols for cleaning procedures including frequent cleaning of high-touch areas.

In order to be able to host guests during covid-19, all our villas have been registered with the min of tourism and HAVE BEEN inspected and certified by Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health.

Our staff are being monitored for their own health to keep both our team and guests safe and protocols are in place for use of Personal Protective Equipment and social distancing at the villa. Guests are able to choose the level of service required and may opt for minimal services as a means of limiting interaction with staff, but full service still remains available.

Our Concierge Team are available to assist you while on island to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable stay with us.


3.     Flexibility – Relaxed Covid-19 Cancellation Policy


25% Deposit due within 7 days of booking (same as normal). Final Payment due 30 days prior to arrival.



All bookings will be able to get a full refund or credit up to 30 days prior to arrival if the situation remains as it is today, with the existing FCDO and CDC travel advisories and restrictions on travel. Inside 30 days prior to arrival, guests would not be given refunds, but are granted credit for a stay within 12 months in the same Villa. If at any time up to and including the day of arrival anyone in the travelling party contracts COVID-19, guests will be granted a full refund on presentation of a doctor’s certificate.


Christmas & New Year’s Bookings

Guests are required to pay a deposit of 25% of the rental charge at the time of booking with the balance (75%) due sixty (60) days prior to arrival. The full deposit for Christmas & New Year’s bookings is non-refundable. Should the guest cancel within 60 days or less prior to arrival, the entire amount will be forfeited.  


*Effective May 31st 2021, Fully Vaccinated guests are not required to quarantine in St. Lucia. To qualify as Fully Vaccinated, guests must have had the last dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine or a one-dose vaccine at least two weeks (14 days) prior to travel. Should the Government of St. Lucia change policy for Fully Vaccinated guests and this change negatively impacts the guests’ ability to vacation in St. Lucia, the guests would not be given refunds but are granted credit for a stay within 12 months in the same Villa.


In all cases, with the NEW Relaxed Covid-19 Policy: Blue Sky Luxury will have the right to give 14 days’ notice to all bookings made under this relaxed policy, if this policy is being reverted to a stricter cancellation policy. This will give the guests 14 days to exercise flexibility to cancel for a full refund or to keep their booking under the new terms.
